Semi-Hydraulic Single-Post Lifts
- Requires a NON-locking air control valve
- A semi-hydraulic single-post does NOT have an oil control valve
Full-Hydraulic Single-Post Lifts
- Requires a LOCKING air control valve
- A full-hydraulic single-post also has an oil control valve
Important note: The locking/non-locking air control valve question only applies to single-post, in-ground lifts, whether the lift is full-hydraulic or semi-hydraulic. All other style in-ground lifts including two-post side x sides and two-or more post ~ fore and aft lifts, are ALL full-hydraulic and use LOCKING air control valves.
