This listing is for one original equipment seal and bearing kit (JG227-30) for Rotary In-Ground Low-pressure lifts with 8-1/2″ diameter pistons. This type of seal and bearing was used on the last style Rotary introduced in 1988 before they discontinued low-pressure, high-volume in-ground lifts, on the automotive side, in the early 1990s.

 

This seal was used on jack numbers JG188 and JG189 with newer DTO28H side x side lifts with the I-Beam equalizer. You will also find this style seal on the Rotary model WRP90, essentially a DTO28H, but with rack and pinion equalization.

Description

This listing is for one original equipment seal and bearing kit (JG227-30) for Rotary In-Ground Low-pressure lifts with 8-1/2″ diameter pistons. This type of seal and bearing was used on the last style Rotary introduced in 1988 before they discontinued low-pressure, high-volume in-ground lifts, on the automotive side, in the early 1990s.

 

This seal was used on jack numbers JG188 and JG189 with newer DTO28H side x side lifts with the I-Beam equalizer. You will also find this style seal on the Rotary model WRP90, essentially a DTO28H, but with rack and pinion equalization.

The gland ring at finished floor is made of cast iron and has a “JG512” stamped on the top with 8 bolts plus a bleeder screw. If your lift has any of these “JG” numbers then this IS your kit. lf your lift has an aluminum gland ring with 6 holes and a 7th for a bleeder, then this is NOT your kit. This kit not only consists of the seal but it also includes all the other replacement parts: the seal including the o-ring, nylatron bearings, 8 new cap screws and a bleeder screw.

If you are resealing a both pistons on one lift, please order two (2) kits.
