This listing is for everything you need to reseal one 8-1/2″ plunger for Western Hoist.
This is a Combo Kit which includes Aluminum Gland Ring, ribbed u-cup seal, and rubber Wiper. Does NOT include nuts.
Western Hoist, in it’s hay-day, was located in National City, California.
This Combo Kit replaces all previous Western seals including part numbers U-220-D; U-232; U-216, BH-1778-31, ALP-1778-31KIT

Please note: On some very old Western lifts made 30+ years ago the gland ring had a slightly smaller outside diameter OD. Depending on the vintage of your lift you may need to chip away some concrete to get the new gland ring to seat properly, as you bolt it onto the casing flange. We do not want you to have any surprises!
Please note that this kit only re-seals ONE piston. You will need to order TWO kits if you are doing 2 pistons on your lift. This is a Combo Kit which includes Aluminum Gland Ring, ribbed u-cup seal and rubber Wiper.
