This is a quality aftermarket direct replacement cylinder for Forward direct-pull 2- posters, part numbers BH-7236-02 and 992317.
Cylinder is 2″ bore x 67 1/2″ stroke. The outer CASING is approximately 72″ long by 2 3/8″ OD. The threaded rod is 3/4″
Product-Lift Compatibility Notes
This product only fits Forward, direct-pull, 2-post lifts with the provided models. It will not work with any other brand or models.
Fits the following FORWARD 2-post lift models: DP7A; DPO7A; DP97; DP97A; DP9; DP09A; DP10; DP10A; 7000A; 9000A and 10000A.
About Direct Pull Cylinders
The “DP” in the model number indicates direct-pull. Direct pull cylinders are mounted from the top of the column in an inverted position.
When the lift is down to the floor, the cylinder rod is fully extended from the casing. When the lift raises, the cylinder PULLS the carriages up and raises the vehicle. There are NO chains on a direct-pull lift.
What’s the warranty?
90 day replacement warranty from date of invoice. ALP will will ship a FREE replacement cylinder at no-charge. After the first 90 days, until one year, we will send a seal kit at no charge for you to rebuild the cylinder. We DO NOT pay labor.
